Why GeSIM Exists
Global mobile connectivity remains fragmented, slow to provision, and costly for travellers and operators alike. Different national regulations, manual provisioning handoffs, opaque billing systems, and siloed operator stacks make reliable international data access inefficient and brittle.
GeSIM exists to modernize that infra layer — not to replace carriers, but to coordinate them. We build the Coordination Layer for Global Telecom: an open, programmable infrastructure that automates provisioning, identity, and settlement so users and operators can connect faster, safer, and more transparently.
At the heart of GeSIM is GeSIM ID — a privacy-preserving identity layer using zero-knowledge proofs to attest device entitlement (valid subscription, KYC pass status, etc.) without revealing personal data. That enables compliant, auditable verification while preserving user privacy.
Our on-chain SM-DP+ prototype automates eSIM profile preparation and delivery via APIs, provides auditable ownership logs for traceability, and supports certificate-based GSMA-compatible provisioning. It’s edge-deployable so carriers can integrate with existing telco stacks and reduce latency and manual handoffs.
We partner with operators to make mobility seamless: automatic network selection, verifiable provisioning, private yet compliant identity checks, and efficient settlement. Our vision is interoperable, privacy-preserving, and operationally safe — a coordination layer that unlocks better global connectivity for everyone.
We’re building telecom as it should be: Open. Decentralized. User-owned.
